Storyline:

Evil Dead Rise is a 2023 American supernatural horror film written and directed by Lee Cronin. It is the fifth installment in the Evil Dead film series. The film stars Lily Sullivan and Alyssa Sutherland as two estranged sisters trying to survive and save their family from deadites. Morgan Davies, Gabrielle Echols, and Nell Fisher (in her film debut) appear in supporting roles.

The film follows two estranged sisters, Beth (Sullivan) and Ellie (Sutherland), who are reunited when Beth comes to visit Ellie in Los Angeles. Ellie is a single mother of three who lives in a condemned apartment complex. When an earthquake shakes the building, it uncovers a hidden chamber that unleashes a horde of flesh-possessing demons. Beth and Ellie must band together to save their family and themselves from the evil that has been unleashed.
